I imagine if Sony didn’t move to being launcher exclusive they’d do what Microsoft does of buying from the Microsoft store for crossbuy benefits.
And not get that benefit of their copy working on PC and Console if they get the game from Steam or GOG. Which to me is completely fine, and what I hope they do over needing multiple launchers if you buy outside of PSN.
How else you do you imagine them being able to track your purchases across platforms?
