It’s their own server, so they’d just… upload it.
How is it against the ToS? I’ve never bothered to look that deeply into their rules, but this is exactly what I do now >.>
Ngl this would skeeve me out. The chances of someone uploading CSAM while slim scare the fuck outta me.
This seems like a developer/publisher issue. GoG can’t update with files it hasn’t been given.
The problem is, it’s nowhere near 1:5. It’s more like 1:100 if we include only games with a decent amount of effort put in.
While I agree, listing successful games is just confirmation bias. For every indie darling, you’ve got hundreds of flops.
The reason triple a games are so mediocre is because it’s safe. You dont have to take a huge risk, and your chances of failing are smaller. Even if you do fail, the chances of recouping your investment are pretty decent.
Again, I think indie games are generally better than pretty much anything the triple a scene puts out. But that’s because they took a huge risk that happened to pay out.
That’s fair, though if you’re concerned to that degree I’d say a rando hosting it would be a silly move. That said, I realize that was a joke. ;P
But a Pi and recover the cost in under a year.
Sure but there are just some things you can’t run over ipv6
I was an early adopter as well… I hated it. I don’t know why but I never got used to it and it has collected dust at the bottom of a box for almost a decade now. Which is sad, because I really wanted to like it.
Wow, I’m only at 1500 and thought it was excessive. Time to continue the irresponsibility!
Oh lordy, please tell me it’s at least not humid in there?
How… how else would this be referred to? What would be the point in starting it headless on the client side?
Time to uncozy that bitch!
I was digging around and it seems there are some iffy api translators for duck.ai such as https://github.com/HuggingBear/DuckDuckGo-AI
But I’ve not tried this yet, so no idea how it works.
Ngl I really wish there was a decent way to hook into third party “offerings” like duck.ai. I don’t have the spare GPUs to run anything at any kind of decent speed.
I’ve got no dog in this race, but they’re bugs my dude. Even then, it’s quite clear later on this isn’t meant to be a modern setting, it’s definitely medieval. This is like screen grabbing the first shot of Robin Hood and saying it’s in a forest so it must not take place in medieval times.
