AMD FSR SDK 2.4 is now officially out bringing the newer FSR Upscaling 4.1.2 for older Radeon GPUs and Ryzen APUs, along with Vulkan support for newer FSR.
Man, if I’d known all this stuff was going to be backported and not exclusive to the 9000 series, I might’ve gotten a 7900XTX instead of a 9700XT (back when the latter launched and they both cost about the same price).
I did exactly that, bought a 7900xtx before the price hikes and before 9000 series, and I was super worried about how long I had in my card before it aged enough for me to notice. The whole reason I bought it was so I can run Linux without thinking about it and still have amazing frame rates in everything for years to come - haven’t been disappointed yet!

In my opinion the 7000 series has too much raster and too little ray tracing performance, the 9000 has a better balance.
If you got a 9070xt before the AI price hikes, you made a great deal.
