He’s getting the copyright back, but not the trademark. Tbh, I think it would be way cooler if we got a “new” Ultima game in like 2005 than today.
that’s the most ai-generated article i’ve read in a while, wow…
Lord British jumped the shark a long time ago.
Never played any of the games, but I’ve been watching a YouTube series about the history of the series, and would love to play a modern title!
Link the series? 🙏
It’s called Ultima Retrospective.
Knew it would be Majulaar without clicking lol. All his videos are good but he absolutely ascended on the UO video. It’s an all timer!
Been a while since i thought about Lord British.
I remember when an entire server killed his character during a live in-game event. Still find it funny he didn’t have godmode on.
iirc there was no god-mode at the time. Thats probably the event that prompted it. You’re talking about when that player pick pocketed that scroll off of someone else in the audience and cast it on Lord British right? That story is so wild.
Down with EA, they killed PS3 Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare servers while leaving xbox 360 servers up. They hate poor people.

Oh, did he live longer than he’d planned and run out of money?
But where does the waterfall of the floating island come from?
The local spring and water-hole, of course.
He’s a scam!! I am a shroud of the avatar donor, it had potential but he took the money and ran. He went to outer space instead finishing the development of sota. It was an awesome game, I loved it. It’s ruined. He will likely put the bare minimum into ultima, before fleeing with a big bag of cash.

He definitely handled SotA very poorly, but that’s just not true. He went to space in 2008, 5 years before SotA was even announced.
He will likely put the bare minimum into ultima
we’re in 2026. guess how he’ll do it. why yes you were right
I hope the avatar can truly return
Some of my first memories were of watching my parents play Ultima 4. :D
Sometimes I wonder if the Ultima games were some of the first open-world games.
Ultima 6 was my first real love for the series but I loved 7 the most. I loved the magic carpet in 7 as a kid.
Training Sherry in Dex and Str and giving her twin boomerangs was hilarious in 6.
I would normally be VERY happy about this, but I saw the mess that he made of Shroud of the Avatar. That doesn’t fill me with a lot of hope.
Hopefully he’s already got ideas for it
