User Jose Coixao (@notnotzecoxao) posted a short video on X showing the KytyPS5 emulator getting the game to its main menu, on a system with a GeForce RTX 5090 and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Frame rates were reportedly around 2 FPS, and no gameplay was shown, so this is a boot-to-menu result for now.
…but why?
Each game emulated properly increases accuracy for the emulator overall.
Because a constantly improving PS5 emulator will have Rockstar regret their decision to release the PC build of GTA VI a year after the console version.

Also, where are you getting this idea that I want to play their games? Aside from Spider-Man, I literally don’t give a shit about their exclusives because it’s all just fake generated hype anyway.

I don’t think the emulator targets this game in particular.
Like all the other replies you’ve gotten: why not? Why not have every possible PS5 game be able to be emulated?
Just because I never played or don’t care about most games that were released on PS2 and Xbox back in the day, doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t. But the fact that they’re (mostly) all available to emulate damn near perfectly is absolutely amazing for everyone involved, because it preserves that art.
Also, while I’ve heard all the negative reviews about this game, I wouldn’t mind experiencing it myself at some point down the line, and I’m definitely not going to buy an entire new console just to play it. So the fact that it’s on its way to being emulated is great for future me whenever I do decide I want to play it.
