i mean 10 years for £549 isn’t all that bad considering
oh wait i was using the external tool, i found the one linked in this thread and it was £1526 still not bad
I am pleasantly surprised to find out that I’ve only spent $559 (356 USD) since joining Steam in 2016. Especially since I’m GOG only now.
4k in 8 years, my old steam account probably has about the same amount in 4 years depending on how they count buying and selling CSGO skins
9k USD, one steam deck in there, 20 year old account. Zero micrograms, all collecting games
Looks like about 100 bucks a year, and more of that was in the early days of my account when I used to get sucked into sales (which also used to have those crazy huge discounts pop up for a game that lasted 8 hours) and before I had a giant backlog.
These days I almost never buy a game unless I want to play it immediately.
Only $738 for me, this thread is making me feel good about my spending habits (in this one particular area)
$6114 for me, 16 year old account. Not terrible I suppose, I got wrapped up in a couple f2p games at different points, and bought a Steam Deck.
1230 USD in about 10 years of service. I’d be interested to know my total playtime on steam now to see how much per hour I am paying.
Mine just says “2018 Ford Focus.”
3.3k over 19 years isn’t too bad considering I bought an Index and Deck :/ If anything I need more games!
Wait, is packagespend included in totalspend? Or do you have to combine them to get the real total?
this is my question too, cause there’s just no way I spent this much money on steam, and I spend a LOT on steam
A little over $1000 in the past 16ish years. I assume it’s not counting a Steam Deck in there.
about 5500$ in 20 years, so
5380 USD here. About a quarter of that was my steam deck and my Index. About 250 USD a year on average spent on just games then 🤔
Mine is about the same. Totally forgot it included by Steam Deck and my Index. Makes me feel a little better!
But then when i look at the number of unplayed and unfinished games in my library I feel bad again.
And then I feel worse remembering I also have a large GOG library which isn’t in that Steam spend and also lots of unplayed games…
Well, yeah, that’s about right.
Yikes that’s an order of magnitude above me and I thought I was bad. Over what time period?
Just shy of 20 years. What’s worse is that in the last few years I’ve been buying almost exclusively from 3rd party sites like HumbleBundle, so it should be much higher. My steamDB page tells a very different story…
Wow, over that period of time that’s reasonable for an enthusiast I would think. Mine (about 1000 USD plus that again from key resellers) is since I started mainly playing PC in 2017. I think the average game cost meant that the spend hasn’t lowered, but the size of collection has ballooned. Hardware costs are probably the greater spend in PC gaming (maybe not for your collection!)
