Now all they need to do is remove Apple Intelligence from IOS 27, so that I can safely upgrade my phone.

Seriously, every freakin time they do this shit, the new os is so bad you have to wait a year to install it.

Installed it on my MacBook and it took 30 gig for an ai I didn’t want and have turned off. (they are lying about the true size so people will install it)

I’m slowly turning into one of those Graph-holes with each comment like this that I make but… GrapheneOS. No AI, no sketchy shit, only has what you put on it.

I don’t like android so I miss iOS but I just can’t go back anymore.

Then why not make it opt-in?

Where do I have to wait for it to download install and set up something that I do not want and will instantly remove?

Because they dont want you to use chatgpt or claude or gemini.

It’s that classic MBA idiocy of “owning the platform and controlling the ecosystem”

Because most people either want it, or don’t care. The number of people who actively don’t want it are a very small portion of their user base.

No you can’t. They removed the master kill switch, and even if you go around and switch it off everywhere, it never gives back the storage space. I’ve know because I did it.

Well, I admit I wouldn’t expect a reclamation of storage space, it’s baked into the OS, not something that gets downloaded. I can see how that would be annoying, but it seems a silly thing to complain about when it’ll be using a fraction of the storage space.
