In GNOME Software I sometimes see a warning that an app (usually from Flathub) has stopped receiving updates.
How do you evaluate when, or whether, an app is problematic because it is no longer receiving updates?

Doesn’t matter. It’s a vulnerability and if you want to use out of date programs that could be used to attack, its a choice YOU make. The important thing is, that any reader here comes away knowing that. I’m not making judgement of you using it or not, just clarifying, because this is important.
