    I’m surprised to see this post get any traction. I was following this since the kickstarter days, though luckily never contributed. It felt like no one I knew in the gaming sphere had even heard of it at its peak, so it’s interesting to see people still talking about it. I’m not one for drama, but there was a while where some new scandal was happening with it every week. There was definitely a period where I kept up to date just to see what would happen next. The concept was certainly very cool. It’s unfortunate that it ended like this.

    Man, I was sure he’d eventually return with some fully vibe-coded version of the game. I guess he had enough integrity to not do that at least. Not sure he’ll be able to find a new job in software with his colorful history (and the current state of the market) though.
