Any idea why Lidarr can’t find https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/165b34c9-6132-4632-b1f4-981f51f87235 ? It finds the other four albums but not this one.

I know this doesn’t answer your question directly, but it’s related; Lidarr is pretty much dead. The problem became managing metadata sources and assignment to media.
I’m actually generally finding it working better for me since they let you search for releases/groups and not just artists. Combined with MusicBrainz Picard for the metadata and finding the release ID, it’s pretty good.
I’m using Lidarr and it’s sometimes a bit of a hassle but it works. What would you recommend instead?
I use tubifarry, a lidarr plugin to use slskd (soulseek) to find and download albums. For me is way better than searching for torrents
I don’t think there is anything, really. I use a soulseek client to get flac files and convert them to opus manually.
Radarr and Sonarr work because the naming conventions for videos are more or less established.
With music, everyone has a different philosophy for tagging, renaming files, transcoding, how to handle best-of albums, compilations, etc. So what works for you probably doesn’t work for me and vice versa.
Lidarr gets very few updates, I don’t think anyone is working on it anymore. I remember the problem was keeping up with metadata handling.
I don’t know where you’re getting this from, the latest docker image was released 3 days ago
https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-lidarr/releases/tag/3.1.0.4875-ls43
Uhh… That’s a repackage of Lidarr in docker, and based on the commits only to comments and to the packager’s Discord server, I would say they probably aren’t adding any actual functional changes.
This is the actual Lidarr repo: https://github.com/Lidarr/Lidarr
