The company is also investigating cryptocurrency transactions it alleges are linked to the cracker, though it has not disclosed the basis for that connection.

Yes… both are based on the same mechanisms to prevent tampering with the game files. If the drm has been cracked, its safe to assume the anti cheat has been cracked too.
