The corpocentrism of business leaders is shocking sometimes. They live like the employees in the company are not real. Like some kind of solipsism where the only things that do exist are themselves and the business, so obviously the only thing that matters is to ensure you and the business continue to the next day.
Corporations are basically feudal organizations with a nobility class. You could take the old medieval Bellatores/Oratores/Laboratores philosophy and probably apply it but it’s managers, employees, owners/investors/c-suite, management being the modern preacher class that has to suffer with the laborers but also is meant for something special rather than manual labor, and the owners/investors being nobility that were born into it, which of course was fate due to God’s good graces.
That mixed with fascism. Dear Leader CANNOT do wrong! We are pleased with the sacrifices that were made so Q4 harvest will be plentiful!

Which it won’t. Xbox’s mindshare is way down from even last generation, which at least I could tell you was called Xbox One (I think).

honestly surprised they haven’t done so already. I don’t think Xbox has ever been profitable for Microsoft, like, ever. From day one in 2001 the thing didn’t make them money. and while the 360 did well it went through so many hardware revisions due to the overheating/RRoD issues. After that I can’t even tell you what the thing was called or which one was which. I don’t even know anyone today that owns an Xbox as all my friends who still play consoles either have a PS5 and/or Switch.
He could be replaced immediately by a shitty local AI running on an old device with 8GB RAM.
