A security issue in Omarchy’s default Docker configuration meant that
essentially every program running in the user’s desktop session could escalate
to root without a password, sudo, or a privilege prompt.
If you use Omarchy, the most important takeaway is
simple: update to 4.0.1.
I reported this issue privately through the project’s responsible-disclosure
process. The underlying configuration has since been patched, so I’m publishing
the details now to explain what the issue is and let users know to update their
systems.
Not sure I want to ask this - What’s the “r” slur?
To use WSB slang - Regard I assume.
World Superbikes slang? I’m even more confused now.
lmao here
One thing I find interesting is under “Modern Use” on wikipedia it says:
As if I didn’t already think that this was a fascist dog whistle… seems like there is actual evidence to back up that while fascism is on the rise, the use of that word is also on the rise. I’ve probably watched / read some shit on this already, and just forgot lol
