The market has moved from PC specific VR to all in one units. Like there is psvr but I feel that’s the exception. However, there is much better vr support for the original Windows Mixed Reality headsets using the Oasis driver. You still need a good computer with a modern gpu, but it works pretty well. Those headsets are pretty cheap and very light which is nice.
If you’re on Linux, Monado works for this.
My application is largely for sim racing. I’ve yet to try beatsaber but I’ve wanted to play that game since high school.
