Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls' launch weekend has been filled with so many PC issues that even famed FGC content creator Maximilian Christiansen (a.k.a. Maximilian Dood) couldn't help but uninstall the game on stream.
And despite implementing EAC they intentionally made the game just not work on Linux. That killed any interest I had, I’m not surprised about the horrible port in the slightest
Yeah… The fediverse audience skews towards Linux, so maybe we’re a vocal minority about this, but I’m with you.
I love ArcSys’ fighting games, and as a Linux user I can play many of them. I also don’t think cheating in rollback/p2p netcode based fighting games is a big problem. So, I’m certainly not going to go out of my way to support a game like Tokon that not only has a bad PC port in general, but also has a pointless anti-Linux anti-cheat configuration.
Really annoying that they’ve messed this one up, but there are other good fighting games to play.

Yeah, usually ArcSys games run just fine on Linux and PC in general. But I guess Sony’s involvement required making everything crap
