KeePassXC 2.7.12 still requires a .mozilla folder if I want to use their extension. The app data for LibreWolf is now nestled somewhere in .config. Would be kind of nice if KP could switch to XDG (if I’m understanding things correctly . . . )

May I suggest Master PDF Editor? It’s proprietary, and I think you may need to pay for some of the features, but I’ve used it for years and have generally been pretty happy with it. An open source alternative that I’m not as familiar with is PDF4QT, which is still a bit rough around the edges last time I checked.

As far as Wine goes, I have never gotten it to work with any Adobe product, ever, period. If you really need to use Adobe stuff, I suggest using it from a Virtual Machine with Windows.

Isn’t it just firefox -p [name of profile]?

Since Mrs. Erinaceus is considering switching, I was going to try and steer her towards Mint, but since she’s a gamer and I’m not (I know, boring) perhaps this would not be the best choice? Please tell me more.

What model computer does your mom have? Does it by any chance have solid state drives that are RAID 0?

Have you tried Linux Mint? After really struggling with Fedora, I was able to get Mint up and running after a few minimal problems and haven’t looked back since.

Actually, full disclosure, I have to water down the coffee Mrs. Erinaceus makes, otherwise I’m risking heart palpitations and panic attacks, hence the need for a larger mug. Hmmm…I wonder if I could somehow learn to make the coffee myself… 🤔

If only they sold coffee mugs! Every time I look somewhere for swag, even if they do have coffee mugs, they’re just these diddly little 10 oz things–not big enough for this coffee achiever!
