Yeah pick Gentoos installer. It can do everything.

With staying power I thought of games like Factorio.

Bought it once, played it for thousands of hours. A decade later or so it gets an extension which basically quintuples the content, am playing it thousands of hours more.

They started supporting and cooperating with heroic launcher.

Thus heroic is the defacto official GOG launcher on linux.

As far as I can see, this comparison always uses the ‘native’ target. So you can’t even compare a generic LTO build with a native (non LTO) build from this.

Use Gentoo, as it is way more stable and can do anything that Arch can.

I agree with Gentoo.

I had installed Arch for my wife, to get fast install times and more normal user friendly upgrades, but it kept breaking all the time.

It really opened my eyes to how incredibly stable Gentoo is while still allowing living on the bloodiest of edges at the same time.

Gentoo because it is as stable as Debian, less bloated than Arch, has more packages than Ubuntu, is rolling release, can mix and match stable, testing and unstable on a whim.

Even its one downside, compile times, is now gone if you just choose to use binary packages.

Gentoo is sooo insanely versatile. I just love it.
