Thank you for your answer. From what I can understand, the Stream settings in NPM do not allow for the function performed by ssl_preread_server_name. That means I would have to modify things in the NPM container itself, right?

I came at it as a Borderlands virgin, but it struck me really as poorly written compared to the other titles, almost as much as their Monkey Island and Sam and Max titles (both franchises I love otherwise).

Would I get to the good part within that Episode?

Walking Dead did not get me as didn’t the Borderlands one. But Telltale’s Batman and ESPECIALLY Wolf Among Us are great.
I guess it comes down to the writing quality.

The first 2 games are on GOG, therefore DRM-free. Are they good games?

To all current GOG+Linux users and to all those who care about fighting a (albeit benevolent) monopoly:
log in to GOG and make your voice heard in the forums!
Yes, there is a Power LED and it is on.

I play ONLY non-Steam since August and had no problems by using Heroic Launcher.

They post on Rumble, I think that’s what they meant.

There is a video made in collab with Wendell who suggested a few distros and listed what can go wrong, but as far as I know, no established testing framework yet.

I cannot wait for GamersNexus to agree on a testing framework for Linux and then see how many games will run actually better on Linux than on Windows, either native or through Wine/Proton.

How is my response in any way hostile or even confrontational?

I didn’t ask why are you not moving away. I have no interest in being there as I have no interest in you coming out of there.
My question is: why did you get there in the first place.
Others answered my question to my satisfaction.

Can anyone explain to me why do people use Discord?
I find it incredibly chaotic, there are no user-friendly threads and therefore they are not used. Also there is no good introduction to the different channel templates one may encounter, leaving at least me wondering what is the best way to interact with people.
I hate Salesforce as much as the next guy, but Slack is immensely superior.
I know about the good audio thing, but I saw it seldomly used in the servers I was in before I deleted my account, so I don’t think that’s really the determining factor.
I tried many times before, mostly pushed by friends nerdier than me. Always failed.
Now I am on Mint since a few months pushed just by myself not accepting AI slop force fed to me by my computer and having become very protective of my privacy since GDPR (I am the DPO at my company).
I must say it has become incredibly user-friendly (at least on Mint CE) and as a gamer, I am very satisfied with both performance and variety (I would have said GabeN be praised one month ago, but I am slowly moving my library to GOG/Heroic, for similar reasons, so the praise has to be shared).

That is actually good news. Means that people more likely to be “normies” are adopting an alternative solution.

I didn’t see the option, but also Huney Pop and others don’t work on Linux.

2 months in. Linux Mint. I am doing my part!

I never heard someone who is not Russian in the voice chat in CS2. Seeing that the skins are mostly exchanged there as well, I guessed the game was a Russian colony by now.
What do you mean by pets?
