Lucy :3@feddit.orgto PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Games on your old AMD Radeon GPU are about to look way better, according to leakEnglish0·11 days agoOn older Graphics cards, aka. the 7800XT? Man, I’d argue the 7xxx gen is not even last gen, but like half-current gen.
Oh yeah, I put sway in depends for my own builds so I ensure it’s installed for new arch installs, oops
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/liquidtrees.git && cd liquidtrees && makepkg
or
add https://repo.30p87.de/private/archlinux as a repo, and sudo pacman -Sy liquidtrees. Then sudo systemctl enable --now liquidtrees

They chose to not write “Valve made NPC AI more efficient”, they wrote multiple paragraphs with all sentences basically repeating “AI, AI”. Calling something AI once because that’s always how it’s been - dumb but ok, but it’s just used as SEO and clickbait now.

Lucy :3@feddit.orgto PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Half-Life 3 playable 'from end to end': Valve rumored for summer reveal, winter release of HL3English0·18 days agoIt’s been a standard term, but you wrote that they have it. But just because some idiots call it that doesn’t mean it is, and especially doesn’t mean it should be repeated.
Lucy :3@feddit.orgto PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Half-Life 3 playable 'from end to end': Valve rumored for summer reveal, winter release of HL3English0·18 days agoOh, they are sentient? They can think? NO. THEY CAN’T. IT’S. NOT. AI. STOP CALLING IT THAT. CALL SIMPLE ALGORITHMS ‘AI’ AND I’LL CALL YOU A FUCKING BRAINDEAD DONKEY.
Lucy :3@feddit.orgto PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Half-Life 3 playable 'from end to end': Valve rumored for summer reveal, winter release of HL3English0·18 days agoThen they shouldn’t call this ‘AI’.
I’m extremely pedantic about this. Especially if they say it half a dozen times in one sentence. Blocked that shit site.

Not to mention, that this would require exactly 2 of the 3 wires/plugs in each cable to malfunction, as with less malfunctioning, the power would be more distributed. And with more malfunctioning, the card would stop working. With 12VHBRN, of the 6 pins available, 5 are free to malfunction as they please. Which ends in 525W (43.75A) through one wire. Which are 100°C at 20A, and melt not far from that.
So, 99% safe if you buy from QUIHUIJUIHUJONGQUI, and, 100% safe for more reputable brands/materials.

I just try to make everything as self documented as possible. Eg. no stray scripts, everything is either implemented in other software (eg. my main wireguard peer in systemd-networkd, without any non-obvious external dependencies) or tracked as a part of an arch pkg with a simple PKGBUILD. I usually either have very simple nets (eg. my VPN’s net only consists of four peers, in the order main - secondary - laptop - phone) or leave it to DHCP and SLAAC. I try to avoid using ports for local servers as much as possible and use unix sockets. Stuff like LVM/Luks pretty much documents itself.
