I have decided that, simply put, I am very, very tired of my computer acting against me and gaining new problems every day as if they were achievements in a video game, so I’m going to take advantage of my Linux experience with the Steam Deck and Raspberry Pi OS to finally start moving away from Windows!
Good luck, although avoiding new problems won’t be solved by switching to Linux.
The value of Linux lies in being a part of the free software ecosystem. You now get to contribute to a pool of knowledge and experience that benefits the public instead of a few corporations.
Unless you use a device with non-free firmware, e.g. WiFi chipsets or Nvidia stuff. Then it’s proprietary, closed-source software.
With great power comes great responsibility
Very true! At least problems are solvable though!
