Has anyone tried this out yet? I’m running it on my trusty ThinkPad and as a Void Linux user, it makes many things just a little easier. It’s very quick. It’s also relatively secure by default and has a control center for enabling more security as well as other optimizations. I know we all like to tailor our DEs and WMs to our tastes and workflows but the defualts here are definitely my cup of tea. It offers KDE as the default but XFCE, Niri, MangoWC, and Hyprland are all options as well. It’s small team working on development and a small community so far but I am hoping that grows.

“unix for human beings. no systemd” my brother in christ most humans, unix users and all, don’t know or care what systemd is. This is a distro for a tiny number of hypernerds.

Most people don’t care, most distro developers seem to like it and I love it. Script based init system can fuck right off for me. Give me that opinionated goodness. Add some core system services. Make them compatible by default. Yes please. SystemD is where it’s at.

      “my brother in christ”

You know, I’m more interested in Unix than in your superstitions.

It’s a meme, not a sincere religious appeal: My Brother In Christ | Know Your Meme. In any case, even if it were sincere, the actual substance of the reply was what came after, which was about Linux (not Unix) anyway and would not have amounted to anything more than a personal idiosyncrasy at worst
