Two years into full-time Linux and I’m finally burning the distro-hopping cycle. I fell for the Arch/AUR trap for a while, but I got tired of spending my weekends debugging file manager crashes instead of maintaining my home lab.
Switched back to Fedora, and it’s boring in exactly the way I need it to be. It’s a stable launchpad for my projects, not the project itself.

So, I finally (almost) did it. All I am missing now is the dynamic workspaces and to make Dolphin look/behave a bit more like Nautilus. And I know I can just go ahead and install Nautilus, however, it would install a bunch of Gnome dependencies that I don’t want.
But for now, it is working as intended. Even the Alt-tab that used to just go around the active workspace can now go across workspaces.
Again, thanks so much.
