I made a Piefed* account, but I can’t see the comments and posts from my Lemmy account. Or vice versa. What’s up with that? Is there a “wall” between these communities?
Is there a way to transfer posts etc from one account to another?
not all systems directly federate with each other… i seem to recall some bad blood between lemmy.world and lemmy.ml… so posts made on one might not make it to the other regardless of your home server. no idea if thats still the case
its where the community is hosted that really matters, in the case of that last post ‘Technology @ lemmy.world’
so any servers that purposefully block lemmy.world would not receive the post
