Organic Maps supera 6 milioni di download: l’alternativa a Google va anche offline
Sono ormai arrivati a 6 milioni i download che Organic Maps ha raggiunto a fine 2025, nonostante la concorrenza spietata di giganti come Google Maps. Un numero sensazionale per un’app nata con lo scopo di offrire mappe e navigazione senza rendere ogni spostamento dell’utente un concentrato di dati da analizzare e su cui monetizzare.

Sorry for not speaking Italian, but just FYI there has been a split in the organic maps developer community and Organic maps is still lacking transparency, while the fork CoMaps has become the real community lead effort at a map app.
It’s always worth remembering. Thank you! On the other hand, it’s also important to remember open projects, even when governance isn’t entirely clear and transparent.
