for those who dont know. in the piracy communties there are new cracks for denuvo that use hypervisor. they often crack it day one now.
so i suspect denuvo will become a hypervisor itself to stop piracy,as a result it will need windows driver that proton wont be able to translate. thus making any denuvo game with these new protections not run on linux.

Literally nothing. It has nothing to do with Linux.
They won’t make their CAC© checks be always online because they know they’ll lose sales. The reality is that more people will not buy always online games than have the will and know-how to find cracked versions. The segmentation of the general market is just much smaller.
So I don’t think anything will happen here.
